As someone who used to have a loft in the Gretsch building (remember "Owner cut power" ?), I want to warn anyone living there or thinking about moving in that I paid a scary woman from Haiti to place a curse on the building.

Thank you for thinking of me. The whole experience has inspired me to write a novel about the art world.

A informative subset of this post would be etiquette for those of us who have yet to acchieve fame/fortune when talking with youngsters who have. All I can think to say is "Enjoy it while you've got it." Somehow that doesn't convey the precariousness of reality properly.....
