Never Use OvernightPrints.com, Ever.

How not to run a postcard-printing service.

1) Mail someone the wrong postcards (for instance, for a group exhibition in Wisconsin when the order was placed from Brooklyn).

2) When the customer calls to report the error, make her pay extra to have her new postcards delivered the following Saturday, since the postcards are needed that day, even though the mailing mistake was entirely the company's.

3) When the customer calls on Friday just to be sure the postcards will be delivered the following day, tell her there was an oversight and the postcards won't be delivered on Saturday afterall! As a minor concession, all of the shipping charges will be refunded. Plus she gets 20% off her next order (it'll never happen!) with OvernightPrints.com.

4) Don't give her any refund at all until she calls the next week to ask about it!

5) Only refund her half the charges, until she calls two days later to nag!

This sounds a lot like the operating procedure that a not-to-be-named arts organization uses for handling my teaching-artist residency paycheck... ahem.

What's that name again? The company never ever to use?

I'm just hoping that this will show up when people search for them!

Also, update: I have still not received the last part of my refund from them! It's not much money at this point but I refuse to let it go.

Another scary thing about them, is that customer invoices are open to everyone on the web. A violent ex of mine googled me and got my home address from my online invoice at overnightprints.com.

Double beware to use these guys.

Patronizing overnightprints.com is a bad idea. First off - nothing happens overnight with this company. You should know that, though. Second, if you have a problem you are ON YOUR OWN. I'm not the only one on the web saying this. Google it. I used to laugh at people who would complain about this company, as I had 10 great transactions with them under my belt. The 11th one burned my client's promotion and my relationship with that client. Overnightprints did NOTHING to help. They did not make good on their botched service, they did not credit me, ----- I don't need to say anything more. If you use them, it's a gamble. You might do fine. Use them multiple times --- it's only a matter of time before you get burned - and then you'll be on your own.

Same experience as many above. overnightprints.com has horrible customer service when it comes to rectifying messed up orders and the quality of printing is getting cheaper. I used to be impressed when I discovered their service 2 years ago. Now I will never use overnightprints.com again to print business cards, printing, overnight, postcards, offset, online design, letterhead, brochures, flyers, letterhead, envelopes, business, card, prints, postcard, design, templates, letterheads, brochure, flyer, flier, envelope, online, overnight prints, laser printing, digital printing, large postcards, headshot printing, color, 4 color

If you want business cards, postcards or any other printed marketing materials then definitely go with www.mind2print.com.

They have amazing quality prints, great customer service and low prices. Can't go wrong.

I needed some cards quick for a german convention I had to be at in Frankfurt and so one of the CS reps at the Overnightprints.com website reffered me to the new website www.overnightprints.de and they came out great and fast! Maybe things have changed if they are growing they must be getting better!

We had a similar issue with overnightprints.com. We ordered Christmas cards from them and they sent the wrong envelopes with the cards. Long story short, cards were ordered well in advance and it took a while to get to the mailing project and when we learned they sent the wrong envelopes, they basically said "sorry, we'll send you some more and they'll get there when they get there". "So my immediate response was WTF?" their suggestion was that I go buy the proper size envelopes if I really needed them. They eventually did send the envelopes and they were the wrong size again.
Overnightprints.com SUCKS!

This is the problem with the stupid fucks like yourself living in this country. I've never had an issue with overnightprints.com. How is this possible, you ask? TRY READING THEIR FUCKING WEBSITE. IT'S ALL SPELLED OUT. STOP BEING LAZY, THEN BLAMING OTHERS FOR YOUR MISTAKE ON ASSUMING. Overnightprints.com has everything you need to create a perfect print stated on their site. You can't blame a company for your shortcomings in the reading arena and not knowing how to follow posted specifications required for files. Retards.

My business cards were beautiful, but I'm a bit annoyed with my postcards. I ordered my prints on a Saturday, so I understand if it took until the next business day, but they did not ship them until WEDNESDAY. That's not fast turn around and not what you expect from "OVERNIGHT" prints. Now I won't get them until Tuesday and I'd hoped that 9 days with 5 day shipping would be enough to get them in time for my meeting Monday afternoon/

It says on their on-line schedule that any orders received on the weekend being Monday, ship Tuesday, and you get it Wed.

I think that Anonymous 2 up is correct; you have TO READ what the details are before ordering. My experience with then has been stellar.

Bad turn-around time, terrible and incompetent service.

I placed an order Nov. 18, order finished printing same day Nov. 18 but they did not mail out my order until Nov. 24. They told me the order would ship out Nov. 20 and that i would receive it by Nov. 21. I had next-day air shipping. They had my printed order for 4 business days before mailing it out. I made the mistake of believing their word that they could get this product to me in time.

Their website states:
""What happens if my order is delayed?
Simply email us at service@overnightprints.com or call our order status queue (option 4) to rectify the situation. Overnight Prints will gladly issue a credit towards a future order."

I called and asked for credit towards a future order, and they denied the request. Clearly they do not know their own policies and will not make amends for delays.

Bottom line is they are anything but "overnightprints" and orders even with next-day air may be delayed. I would not recommend this business to anyone, ESPECIALLY to those requiring fast printing.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A RESELLING GRAPHIC DESIGNER WITH CLIENTS WHO ARE PAYING YOU FOR A QUALITY PRODUCT DELIVERED IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME!

I ordered 500 Christmas cards for my client on November 25, 2008, knowing that Overnight Prints (OP) would not be printing or shipping on Thanksgiving Day or the day after. I gave my client a shipping date of Wednesday, December 3, 2008. On the following Sunday, November 30, 2008, I called OP to upgrade the print job to Express Printing with overnight delivery. I paid almost as much for that upgrade than I did for the card order. Since then, I have spoken to OP every single day inquiring about my order, even going so far as to upgrade yet again to Saturday delivery. Today, Saturday, December 6, 2008, I was told that they had not yet been shipped and the earliest I would have them would be Tuesday, December 9, 2008, but that she still would not give any guarantees.

On my last order (another Christmas card order), they did the scoring off-center and I had to cut every single card so that the inside of the card wasn't hanging down behind below the bottom of the front of the card.

Furthermore, I have been using OP almost exclusively for my client's business cards, postcard mailers, rack cards, brochures, etc. and at times, have reordered the same exact product with the same exact design file and received a print job with completely different shades of the original color.

You absolutely cannot depend on the quality, consistency or delivery of jobs done through Overnight Prints. If you do, understand that you are taking a huge risk.

You wouldn't even use OvernightPrints.com if they were giving away 500 free business cards and all you had to do was pay shipping and handling? This deal is available at freebusinesscardbailout.com with new customer service and higher quality printing it's the perfect time to give them another try!

I have tried them twice for different things and I didn't like them either time. I gave them a second chance because a lot of people rave about them. Both times I was very

disappointed. I will not ever use them for anything ever again. I know how you feel. I used www.printfac3.com for my save the dates and I couldn't be happier with them.i love

their color quality and my card is stunning.

Almost this same exact thing happened to me. They sent my postcard with my info on the back and somebody's cheesy baby shower announcement on the other side! Then they were TERRIBLE about rectifying the problem. The cards finally came the day before I needed them. I had originally ordered three and half weeks in advance, so it should not have come down to the wire like that. Their print jobs turn out well, but the customer service is total crap.
